At Pearly White Dentistry, our goal is to provide quality dental care in a timely manner. We have implemented an appointment/cancellation policy which enables us to better utilize available appointments for our patients in need of dental care and treatment.
Please arrive on-time to your scheduled appointment. Late arrivals cause schedule delays for those patients who arrive promptly to their appointment time. Late arrivals will be worked into the schedule if time allows. Those arriving more than 15 minutes past their scheduled appointment time will be re-appointed to another day/time and charged a $35 fee.
We understand that things may come up; however, it’s very important that you make every effort to give us at least a 24-hour notice if you cannot make your scheduled appointment. If an appointment is not cancelled at least 24 hours in advance you will be charged a $35 fee; this will not be covered by your insurance company. When patients do not show for their appointment or do not give us an adequate cancellation notice, we are unable to offer that appointment to another patient who has a true dental need. Available appointments are in high demand and your early cancellation will give another patient the opportunity to have access to timely dental care.
Thank you for understanding the value of our cancellation policy to each of our patients.
We look forward to taking care of your smile!
Our office is committed to helping you maximize your insurance benefits. Because insurance policies vary, we can only estimate your coverage in good faith but cannot guarantee coverage due to the complexities of insurance contracts. Your estimated patient portion must be paid at the time of service. As a service to our patients, we will bill insurance companies for services and allow them 45 days to render payment. After 60 days, you are responsible for the entire balance, paid-in-full. If you have any questions, our courteous staff is always available to answer them.
We use an automated appointment reminder system that calls, emails and texts our patients. You can let our office staff know if you have a preference is our communication with you. If you do not respond to the message, our office staff will contact you to confirm your scheduled visit. Failure to notify our office of a cancellation may result in a charge. See our missed appointment policy for more information.
